Cape Girardeau County's peach harvest, ample and mouth watering in quality, was rolling from its orchards the week of Aug. 16, 1961. Here a few of the 8,000 bushels from 2,000 trees are being harvested at the Central Packing Co. orchard on Highway 61, formerly the Schulz orchard.
